Peer Review Process
Journal of English Language for Linguistics and Literary Studies (JELLLS) is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the standards of review. Once your paper has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will then be single-blind peer-reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees.
(JELLLS) Review Guideline:
Step 1: Editorial assessment
Peer review follows several stages, beginning with submitting your paper to a journal. At this stage, the journal editor will decide if it’s suitable for the journal, asking questions such as: • Has the author followed the journal’s guidelines? Is this the right journal for this paper? • Will the journal’s readers find it interesting and useful? The editor might reject the paper immediately, but otherwise, it will move to the next stage, which is peer review.
Step 2: The first round of peer review
The editor contacts referees who are experts in the paper field. They will be asked to read your paper and advise the editor whether to publish it or not.
Step 3: Revise and resubmit
You can then amend the paper according to the reviewer's notes and resubmit it again after the revision.
