Simultaneous interpreting is defined as the most difficult type of interpreting shouldered on interpreters all over the world because. It is three in one process, they are receiving the information from the speaker, processing it in the interpreter’s brain and producing a speech in the target language at once. The current study is about a strategy designed by the researcher. It aims at addressing the problems of lengthy vocabulary made source language speakers when interpreting them into the target language via simultaneous interpreter. The researcher assigns two undergraduate students in the fourth-year class and other two graduate students of Department of Translation/ College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University. He makes a particular speech for the purpose of the study. Then, he assigns them to interpret the speech following receiving an intensive course concerning Simultaneous interpreting strategies. Finally, he checks their interpretations to see how far they are capable of applying the strategy in question. It is hypothesized that the transformational strategy is likely to help interpreters to achieve better results during interpreting. Furthermore, the results of the study verified the hypothesis mentioned above.
